You write you are terrified -- thank you for using that strong word. I wish more people were terrified! I really got depressed after Biden was chosen as the nominee. It was clear that Bernie Sanders had the support of the people, so the moderate (corporate) Democrats were alarmed. I was really disappointed that former President Obama kept quiet throughout the primaries, until it was obvious that Bernie could win. Then Obama spoke up and threw his support behind Biden. I had such hope when Obama was elected, but as his post-presidency behavior shows, he was indeed a corporate Democrat. Yes, it is always "blame the progressives", because they are the only ones offering real change. And now, this incredible behavior around voting for Ketanji Brown Jackson, as you said "this should be a rubber stamp moment."
