You make many good points in this article. I, too, feel the same way when I see American flags on cars and trucks, and when I hear supposedly God-loving people espouse hateful opinions towards anyone who is not like them. I do think, though, that we need to talk about religion and politics (talk, not shout), as staying silent about issue does not make them change. I applaud your wife for speaking up about the unfair jury; most people are totally unaware that they are biased, or they just don't care.
