You are reading my mind! I just wrote about the disastrous political system in the US. I, too, would appreciate some humility and telling of hard truths. I think you are wise to conclude that the best thing to do is focus on the things we can control, and also to reach out to those in our sphere of influence that may actually still be open-minded enough to accept that there is a better way.
