When I see footage of civilians living in war zones, I always, in my mind, visualize generations of trauma.To believe that when the fighting stops, the war is over, is naive. As for the people caught up in the violence, I'm sure they care more about the safety of their children than about an arbitrary line on a map. Thanks for this thoughtful article.
