What would I do? I'd be at that school in a heartbeat, insisting that this behavior not be tolerated. There will always be bullies, but they are in the minority. The parents of the other kids need to organize and make a scene at the school. Sitting by is the worst thing to do.

As for how I'm coping, I'm doing just fine. I knew in my heart that Trump would win, even though I despise the man. As you know, I equally despised Harris. I was well prepared for what happened on Election Day. Now is the time for movement building, not for despair and helplessness.

We have to get beyond feeling as though we are victims of circumstance. We have to show our kids that we will stand up for them. They need us to show the way.
