You could justify homophobia, sexism, and misogyny by quoting the Bible, by claiming you are just trying to protect your culture etc. You could justify xenophobia by appealing to patriotism. When the xenophobia is directed against Americans, you don’t even need justification. It is viewed as an appropriate response to Americans’ obnoxious behavior.
It Is Not Anti-American Xenophobia. It Is Anti-Black Racism
