This is a true definition of privilege. It's NOT about who suffered more, it's about who is remembered in history and whose suffering (and achievements) are erased, or get little mention, from history. Also, many white people don't understand the definition of white privilege, like when they insist they don't have white privilege because they had to struggle to get ahead. There are several definitions of the word "privilege". I think that is where most white people get stuck in understanding what white privilege is. I would ask people who assume that that "privilege" is defined by who struggled or suffered more, to read some articles about the sociological definition of privilege.
