Thanks for addressing the inequality concerning public restrooms. Rather than wait in line for the "ladies' room", I have often had a male friend check out the men's room to see if it is empty, then stand outside the door while I used the men's room. Of course, I am generally appalled by the condition of men's restrooms--lot's more odor and not as clean. Men can use urinals, but women sit on the toilet and prefer the privacy of a stall, so the whole process takes longer. Women aren't just going in to pee (or poop), but also to tend to menstrual issues. Women are usually the ones to take the kids to the bathroom. Anyone who has brought children to use the restroom understands what a process it is! (ick, don't touch that, don't climb under the stall into another stall, don't play with the dryer, wash your hands properly, etc. etc.). Just a female POV. Thanks for the article. This topic needs to be addressed. Here's to lots more amenities for women!!
