Thank you for making these very important points known. I, too, take meds for mental illness. Most people, unfortunately, think all mental illness has something to do with anger and violence; they have no understanding (nor do they even try to educate themselves) about different types of mental illness. I totally agree that the fault lies with American society. Other nations do not have this problem of daily mass shootings.
