You, who are on the road, must have a code that you can live by.” *

Greed is good. Money equals success. Capitalism is the best economic system.

And so, become yourself, because the past is just a goodbye.

I make no excuses. I did what I had to to get by. Climate change? It’s a hoax. Plastic? It’s convenient. You don’t like capitalism? What about the nice things I provided you with, courtesy of the American Dream?

Teach your children well. Their father’s hell, did slowly go by.”

I know I wasn’t there for you. I worked too many hours for things that we really didn’t need. It wasn’t easy for me. I missed out on a lot.

“And you of tender years (Can you hear and do you care)
Can’t know the fears (And can you see)
That your elders grew by (We must be free)
And so please help (To teach your children)
Them with your youth (What you believe in)
They seek the truth (Make a world)
Before they can die (That we can live in)”

I can’t change the past. I’m sorry. I’m willing to listen. I know things have to change.
