Oh, I relate. Like you, I make a point of wearing what I want, but the older I get, the more I think about appropriateness. But, the only thing I have stopped wearing in my 60's is really short shorts. Not because I don't have the legs for it, but because I fear judgment. The shorts that I wear in public are now longer.
