Nice idea, Michelle. Something kind of similar is happening here, to stock the Little Free Libraries.

Spring is here, it's time to dust off the bike and the bookshelf! Join the Providence Streets Coalition and Community Libraries of Providence for a springtime celebration of books and bikes! Participants will:- Visit three of the Community Libraries of Providence (the new name of Providence Community Library) by bike on a safely guided tour – expect an 8-12 mile route with a few hills, plenty of stops, and provided water and snacks. The ride will both begin and end at Rochambeau Library, 708 Hope Street, Providence. - Do some spring cleaning in their own bookshelves and stock up little free libraries in neighborhoods along the way!- Celebrate the launch of a new map of our community libraries with suggested safe routes for walking, biking, and rolling – generously funded by the National Library of Medicine- Support the PVD Streets Springs Forward campaign! This ride is free and open to all, but a suggested donation of $20/rider is appreciated People on scooters, skateboards, skates, and other types of mobility devices are very welcome to join! Ride as much or as little of the route as you like. If April showers come, the rain date is Saturday, April 30th.
