My Husband Sends Me Flowers
In a Most Unusual Way
My man shows me that he loves me in so many ways.
He knows I like my morning coffee the old-fashioned way, brewed in an electric percolator. Every morning, he “puts the pot on” before he takes a shower. Then he serves me a cup of coffee in bed. He makes sure to offer me a refill before he leaves for work.
He’s the one who cleans the bathroom. He also always remembers to put the toilet seat down, and put in a fresh roll of paper when he uses the last of it.
He knows that I love flowers, and he has always been generous with bringing home fresh bouquets. But, money is tight, and the cut flowers don’t last very long. So, he started taking pictures of flowers that he spots throughout his day, and he texts the photos to me. That is far more precious to me than any store-bought bouquet. It shows that I am in his thoughts, often.
When he learned that I loved tiger lilies, he took photos whenever he spotted them. Here are some of the flowers from my husband:
