The news gets more insane by the day. But what’s truly frightening is that a gullible public accepts the half-baked, government theories that it is fed.

A decades-long (centuries-long?) stream of propaganda and disinformation has succeeded in creating a public that bows to the will of the greedy and corrupt “elite”, with scarce recognition that their minds are being controlled.

What else could explain our short attention spans, our ability to live in denial about the horror shows that unfold before us daily?
