Many privileged people are blind to their privilege--some are purposefully blind in order to retain their privilege, but some are blind because they have never experienced life outside of their bubble. I agree with what you say. That is why we need to teach our children the unsanitized history of our country (and, yes, that is NOT what people ignorantly think is learning CRT in school).
