I was listening to a story on NPR yesterday about the school shooting in Uvalde. It included clips of many voices: Sandy Hook parents remembering and relating, residents of other parts of Texas relating their tales of anti-immigrant sentiment, the niece of the Justice of the Peace in Uvalde (they don't have a coroner in Uvalde, and the task of identifying the bodies fell on the Justice of the Peace), and words of counselors who told the story of the total lack of mental health counseling for the families in Uvalde, due to lack of funds in the budget. Stories like that reach people more than any reporting of numbers ever could.

Thanks for bringing this important topic to light.
