I view the reality of death as a way to get beyond the ego, the false sense of self. When we realize that we are all connected, we come to want to reduce the suffering of others. To me, spirituality has nothing to do with religion. Rather it's the recognition that there is something that we can't quite comprehend, but that is important enough to see that justice comes if we are willing to die for it, should it come to that.
