I just responded to you, then saw your new response. I totally agree with what you say here! There is a great divided in the US between the thinking of younger people and older people. I agree with the young folks, even though I am 65! I despise both Trump and Biden, because they are both greedy men who really do not care about the people. I am working for the Cornel West campaign. The US is a strange place, politically. We have allowed ourselves to be stuck in a two-party system for almost 100 years. Third party candidates find it difficult to get on the ballot, as the election system is rigged by the Democratic and Republican parties.

Most older Americans only get their news from TV, and they watch mainstream media TV, so they never get the whole story. Younger Americans turn to independent media more, and are open to alternative viewpoints. The US has spent decades in propaganda to make people fearful of socialism and communism. The Democratic Party used to be considered on the left in politics, but most Democrats are actually far more conservative than the Republicans of 40 years ago.
I also totally agree with you on the situation in Ukraine. Another war that could have been avoided had the US not bullied NATO countries into supporting war. Again, the US is stuck in anti-Russia thinking, a childish way of looking at the world, as though one side is good and one side is evil.
