I have been really disappointed with this platform lately. I started wrtiting on Substack, as I think Medium has become a corporate entity with no consideration for individual writers. I joined Medium, paying my $5/month years before I started writing here. I joined so that I could read as much as I wanted. Now, I have to do a search of the writers that I follow (many seem to have disappeared), as my "following" feed is full of writers that I don't follow (?). I only make between $5 and $10/mo. on Medium, so I will stop paying for this platform. I write for myself, basically, so I might as well post on a platform (Substack) where I can easily find all the writers that I regularly read. I will still post my articles on this platform, but not be a part of the Partners' Program.
