I get it. I, too, don't write for the money; I write because it is healing. But, like you, it would be nice to see some financial reward. BTW, I spent 16 delightful years living in Hawaii, but had to leave when I got divorced, as I just couldn't afford to live there anymore. I still dream of my little home in Manoa Valley!
