I find that young people (under 30, black and white) immediately know who Dr. West is because he is all over independent media. Where you won't find him much is on what the kids refer to today as "old people's news" (CNN, NBC, ABC, etc). As I've worked on his campaign, I have found young people who have seen him protesting among the college students on their Tik-Tok videos, and have seen his presence at protests for justice. It's the older crowd that doesn't seem to know him.
