I feel the same way about make-up. I never wanted to wear it, but have been constantly pressured to do so. Even employers would suggest "a little bit of lipstick." I have nothing against make-up, but I like an easy maintenance routine and do not want to spend time making myself up to fit in with social preferences for women. Why is a man's natural complexion okay, but a woman is "plain" without blush, lipstick, foundation, eye liner, eye shadow, mascara, etc. etc.
