I believe this is all about preserving capitalism, especially ensuring that the top 1% continue to reap profits while the rest of us struggle to get by. Wade into federal law, yet never followed through even when they had the votes to easily do so under Obama. Abortion is an issue that has to stay a topic of conversation and threat, as it makes it seem as though there is an actual difference between Dem and Republicans (which there is not). Many states had ballot initiatives regarding abortion , and 7 out of 10 of those states voted to increase access to abortion (unfortunately, your state of Florida was one of the three very Red states that did not). All this talk is to keep the everyday people fearful, and thus easily controlled. Also, we are not talking about the things that are actually happening now (under Biden admin), that are eroding our privacy and taking away our right to free speech.
