I appreciate your thoughts and welcome them. I don't expect to agree with a candidate 100%. But, candidates that refuse to acknowledge that a genocide is taking place, but instead fully support sending more arms and our own military to fight in support of those bombing hospitals, schools, ambulances, and people who have been told to run, then shooting them while they are running, are people that I simply can't vote for. I know these things have happened in the past, but the public was kept largely ignorant of the atrocities. Now, as Gabor Maté says in the video, we are watching Auschwitz unfold before us in real time on Tik Tok. To vote for candidates who support this carnage is amoral, especially when we do have third-party candidates who are anti-war. I know we will never rid the world of evil. I want to bring awareness in the USA to the point that we do have options, we have just been led to believe by those in power that we are stuck with only two parties. And, both those parties lean right. Trump is far-right, and Harris is moderate-right. Both do not support universal healthcare. Both support increasing military spending. Both support a greater police presence and more surveillance here in the US. The one issue that Harris gets credit for is abortion rights, but the Democrats could have made abortion rights Federal law years ago when they had enough votes in Congress. Right now it is up to individual states to set policies around abortion, and there are people in the conservative states (anti-abortion), who are fighting to get laws changed.
In general, unfortunately, most Americans are ignorant of how our government actually works, and instead rely on getting their information from their favorite source of mainstream media, which further divides our country.
