I appreciate your perspective. Indeed, the Nazis genocide of Jews (and others) was organized and sustained, and went much further than anything that had happened during previous pogroms. Also, the slave trade is what built the economies of Europe and the Americas, and was a system that was designed to be sustained through brutal means. Any enslavement is horrible, as you state so well in your comments. I agree, that a "Slavery Olympics" serves no one and that any enslavement must be consistently condemned. As for Don Lemon and the gang at CNN, they are puppets for their corporate owners, and present a very biased view of the world (like their foes on Fox News, they both serve to keep their followers squabbling with each other, rather than recognizing the true source of problems--the corporate elite). I don't expect to find any deep thinking and analysis in the Mainstream Media.
