His whole campaign was formed as the beginning of a movement. Dr. West supported Bernie Sanders, but was disappointed when his organization basically fell apart once the election was over. West and his VP pick, Abdullah, are continuing their work in building a movement for change: Now, more than ever, our work must intensify at the grassroots level. This is a call to action for each of us to deepen our engagement within our communities:Organize Locally: Participate in community meetings, join local organizations, and build networks that strengthen our collective voice.Support Local Initiatives: Volunteer your time and skills to support initiatives that align with our values—be it food drives, educational programs, or environmental clean-ups.Amplify Silenced Voices: Use your platforms to uplift often overlooked stories and perspectives, ensuring that marginalized people are heard and seen.Educate and Mobilize: Host workshops, discussions, and forums to educate others about the issues at hand and mobilize collective action.Together, we have the power to turn our frustration into fuel for transformative action. Our strength lies in each other. United, we can build a new path forward, rooted in solidarity and sustained by our shared commitment to justice.
