Excellent! You are singing my song here. As a personal trainer and group exercise instructor by profession, I have always encouraged moderate amounts of exercise daily rather than intense workouts. My grandparents did not have to go to the gym to stay "fit". Also, staying hydrated is so overlooked. I sympathize with young people, as they are growing up in a very sedentary world, and are surrounded by unhealthy processed foods. I rarely see kids in my neighborhood tossing a ball around, seems most "sports" are organized into teams that require money for uniforms and transportation. I miss hearing the joyful shouts of the neighborhood kids running around in the backyard, or biking in the streets. The young family across the street from me is always outside, and I always tell the parents how happy I am to see the kids outside playing.
