Another thought-provoking article, Laura. I think one of the reasons that we don't know about white activism is that the modern mainstream media won't cover it. The reporting likes to offer the message that the black protestors are "rioters", so it doesn't serve the narrative to show the white folks who get beat up and sent to jail. I see many white people joining in the protests against racism in my city.
