Airing of Grievances
“ I got a lot of problems with you people! And now you’re gonna hear about it!”
For those who didn’t watch Seinfeld back in the 90s, the above quote is from the cantankerous character Frank Costanza in the episode “The Strike”, which first aired on December 18, 1997. In that episode, the holiday of Festivus was introduced.
“Frank Costanza: At the Festivus dinner, you gather your family around, and tell them all the ways they have disappointed you over the past year!”
Well, although it is July, and not the traditional celebration date of December 23rd, Happy Festivus . . . for the rest of us! Now it is our time to air of grievances about the corporations, politicians, and SCOTUS judges and tell them all the ways they have disappointed us over the past year.
